Audience Smarting over new Perico

Brunswick was still reeling from Saturday's night appearance by Perico which seemed to point to a new direction for the all-star band . Renowned more for their sweet harmonies and laconic wit than their dress sense, two members featured black jackets, white shirts and identical shoes.

Guitarist, harmonicist, pianist and metrosexual Richard Oldfield told pericoloco that "after the 3/4 length incident in January we've made a very special effort to smarten up our act. It's just a pity that certain unnamed members of the band - Greg and Col, haven't come on board as yet."
Described as "Reservoir Dogs meets the Beverley Hill Billys" by one punter who was very impressed.
"I'm very impressed" he said.
