Distressed Perico fans were being comforted over the weekend after the last-minute cancellation of Perico's gig at the Brunswick South Primary School Fete. Perico had been scheduled to perform at 8pm but with the stage running badly behind time, and the finishing time of 9pm rapidly approaching, Perico voluntarily pulled out for the 'greater good'.Perico singer, guitarist and moustached philanthropist, Richard Oldfield, issued a formal apology to fans while at the Retreat front bar on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, local band Darkest Heartstrings were so loud that nobody actually heard him.
