Once again Brunswick has produced an absolute ripper for all you music-loving Wicksters, We'd like to reccomend the 10-piece band "The Conch" who play the Noise Bar allegeedly at 3pm, except i think we're still a bit pissed off about them playing 'til 6:15pm when Perico were supposed to start at 4pm, then 5pm, then 5:30pm ....
Anyway, if Pericoist Col wasn't captaining the mighty Abbotsford Anglers on Saturday arvo he'd definately be catching up with Rory Ellis and Dave Steel at the Retreat at 5pm instead. By night time, he'd head down to the the re-invigorated "Vic" where heavy rockers Darkest Heartstrings fill out a big night with Kids in Cults, The Sound Debate and the appropriately named Bang Bang Bangs.
On Sunday, between tunes being spun by Dallas Crane drummer and fellow Abbotsford Angler DJ Shannon, pericolocists will all be heading to the Brunswick Hotel to catch this week's Golden Parrot winning line-up of Chantelle Rogers, Krit, Taboo and A Million Bright Ambassadors of Morning. It's free and starts about 5pm.
