Highly respected and well-loved Herald-Sun Columnist, Andrew Bolt, has put out a thinly-veiled request for Perico to assimilate and be like every other band.Writing in his usual column on Wednesday, Bolt said:
THE weird news this past month tells us enough is enough.
These people, so many shrouded in black and living in enclaves like Brunswick, must now become assimilated.
Perico have denied that the reference was to them as they are rarely seen in black nowadays, but state election candidate and Brunswick drinker, Damo Wilding, agreed with Bolt.
"Brunswick IS an enclave" he told pericoloco "and Perico DO have a responsibility to be like evryone else. That's what tolerance is all about."
