Perico guitarist, singer and harmonicist, Richard Oldfield insists he's not planning to quit Perico, go solo and join a hippy commune, despite rumours circulating Brunswick today.Perico drummer and anti-drugs campaigner, Col Robertson, said he would be disappointed if Richo started smoking pot because that would confirm he was looking to revert to the 60's.
"Any self respecting rock star of the 21st century should be taking ice, so let's hope that that is the drug of choice for him." he explained.
Richard was dismissive of the attack on his character.
"It was a dress up for a fortieth birthday party. You shouldn't be so judgemental."
